7 days a week. Park hours vary seasonally, however hours are extended during holiday periods and summer evenings (May thru Labor Day). Park is closed on Christmas Day.

Guaranteed Tickets!
You will receive your SeaWorld E-Tickets which guarantee entrance to the park. The E-Ticket contains a bar code that will be scanned at the front gate.

Rocky Point Preserve
Rocky Point Preserve, a two-part attraction, allows guests to see and learn about bottlenose dolphins and California sea otters.

Wild Arctic
Welcome To Base Station Wild Arctic, where you will be face-to-face with polar bears, beluga whales, walruses, arctic foxes and seals.

Shark Encounter
Come face-to-face with sharks of all shapes and sizes at the Shark Encounter.

Penguin Encounter
Chill out with nearly 300 Antarctic penguins at the Penguin Encounter, a snow-filled habitat where penguins swim and waddle in 25°F temperatures.

Forbidden Reef
Touch and feed California bat rays as they glide though the water. Travel down under the waves and get face-to-face with moray eels. Take an up-close look at hundreds of these exotic creatures in their mysterious world of underwater caverns.

Manatee Rescue
Manatee Rescue is one of a handful of U.S. locations outside Florida displaying the endangered Florida manatee.

Shamu’s Happy Harbor
Climb aboard the "Wahoo Two", a ready-to-explore fun ship for pretend pirates docked right in the center of Shamu's Happy Harbor.

Journey to Atlantis
Challenge the power of the sea on the Journey to Atlantis water coaster. Ride a mythical rush through uncharted waters where mysterious mists and unpredictable drops lurk around every turn. Journey to Atlantis twists you around serpentine turns, plunges you down eight stories of adrenaline-pumping exhilaration and drenches you in mystery. Take excitement to new heights on Journey to Atlantis.

Shipwreck Rapids
Brave the waves on Shipwreck Rapids. Spin and splash through river rapids, plunge through an underground cavern and dodge dripping cargo nets as you swirl around a tropical island. Wild Arctic
Board a simulated jet helicopter for an unforgettable motion-based "flight" to a remote research station called Base Station Wild Arctic. You'll experience a wild adventure of real bumps, jumps and zips.

SeaWorld Skyride
Take a refreshing six-minute roundtrip ride across beautiful Mission Bay. The Bayside Skyride glides slowly over the bay, offering time to view the sights, sounds, and scenic beauty of Mission Bay Park.

SeaWorld Skytower
Take a ride up more than 265 feet on the Skytower, and you will witness a panoramic view of this gorgeous corner of the world that you will never forget. Wheelchair access is provided at all shows and attractions. Rental prices are below:

$37.71 for electric wheelchair (plus $5 refundable deposit)
$10 for manual wheelchair (plus $2 refundable deposit)

New Food & Beverage Policy
Restaurants and concession stands are located conveniently throughout the park. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and JCB are accepted at all restaurants. Large hard or soft coolers, glass containers, food, drinks and picnic lunches may not be taken into the park. Guests with special diets, baby formula or baby food may bring their items into the park.

Smoking Policy
For your convenience, SeaWorld provides designated smoking areas for our guests. Please refer to the park map for directions to these areas.

Security Procedures
SeaWorld San Diego has increased security procedures, which may result in slight delays while entering the park.

As a part of this process:

• All bags, backpacks and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park.
• As a reminder, the following items are not permitted to be brought into SeaWorld for the safety of our animals and our guests: weapons, knives, any other type of sharp objects, straws, large hard or soft coolers, and any hazardous items or materials. Please leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle to expedite your entry into the park. SeaWorld is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss of vehicle including articles left within.
